I actually fear recession a hell lot more than anything else o.o —> Me too but we would have to rely on data from the Internet as it is our main source for tracking global news, stocks, etc. Yet, point taken. Conflict. Oh by the way, your diatribe about tumblr was funny. I am anal with spelling. But I forget that most people on here are either young or are speaking in some texto codes. I have given up on somethings. But I need to or feel the need to correct misinformation. Or at the very least, share my knowledge. Like that freak who actually used the term “colored people” to describe people of color. This truly outraged me. I could not let that one go. Now about American references. Come on, mon amie. This is just a fact. The whole world is obsessed with this country. Come to terms with it. I have to. I am an American. But I will say that I have no clue about this whole Conan O’Brien thing. But will tell you, he is funny and very tall with red hair. But you know this? Oh, he’s great and has super bands on his show. Or used to. But alas, I am out of the loop with most television references. I am not concerned with this world. Yet now that I have moved out of America, I am watching American series: Big Love, 6 Feet Under, Damages and I forget the other one. But it took me to move to Paris to watch American shows. Go figure. I am actually on Season 2 of 6 Feet Under. Oh and another amazingly odd fact is that I never saw but one or two episodes of the L Word until I moved here! The irony is that not only am I a lesbian but I have friends who produce the show. Now moving on to fashion, this is an industry that I still work in. But I am horribly conflicted with this world. You may know by now that I also do other things. I kind of make my life obvious in an non-obvious way. My tumblr is probably a travel blog at best. Or, a personal introduction to life as I see it. I am however extremely ironic and a little esoteric. About the online flirting. I have not seen this. But I have noticed that I have developed meaningful dialogues with perfect strangers. I love this. I need human contact. Just look at me and you. We are amazingly connected by this format. We are even featured in an International magazine. One, I still have yet to send you. Sorry. I have been busy. But just this fact alone is simply incredible. Now do not take offense to what I am about to write. But I would not even be having this kind of intimate exchange with you in person. Why? You are at least 12 or more years younger than I am. Plus, we dwell in very different worlds. We share a lot of the same economic philosophy. I am a classical Liberal. I am a Third party voter. I believe in free market. I want more jobs generated. I want all of our troops out of every single country— unless it is for aid and food supplies. I have the ability to see the other side of the picture— like you do. Like gasoline consumption. I was very impressed with your take on oil companies and the contribution of the consumer. SUV’s are still the top selling automobile. It’s what people want. But I digress. Suggestion: Do not be so hard on others and more essential to peace of mind, stop following people who are silly. I have. Yet, I am a whore to the popular feed and sometimes will look to challenge others on purpose. Boredom? No. I actually am deluded into thinking I can really change someone. My focus is on shedding some positivity and light into the lives of others. But like I have said, I am either deluded or an egoist. But yes, go outside and explore the real world. Yet for me, the real world has oddly become the Internet. I even Skype with my parents in Florida. Talk about weird. But this is allowing us to stay in touch in a way our family never would have been able to before. I could on and on. Oh but what is funny about this chart is that kids need the Internet to write papers. I know. Thank God for the programs teachers have to check plagiarism. Cheating is rampant. I have even had students turn in papers with different font which they had just inserted in as their own work. What dummies. Daily meditation: LIVE AND LET LIVE. (sardonic but sincere)
